We are located in Conquistadores
cheap, easy to use, very safe. We use it a lot.
The best is to use an app like Cabify or Didi. It´s just a little more expensive than Uber, but still cheap. Normally it´s safe to take a taxi in the street.
Also the Uber app allows to ask for taxis specifically (rather than classic Ubers).
There are many public busses. They are really cheap and go to most places of the city. Please ask us if you need specific information.
There are busses going to the International Airport (MDE) frequently. They start from two different locations: from Hotel Nutibara in the City Center and from San Diego.
So you could use Uber or taxi to one of the starting locations and take the bus from there.
Bus fee to the airport: approx. 20.000 COP
The most comfortable and convenient way to go to the airport is by taxi. It takes approx. 50 minutes and costs around 100.000 COP
If you want to go by taxi we will be happy to recommend you a trusted service that we also use ourselves.
There is a metro in the city that is very quick, clean and safe. The next Metro stop is called “Exposiciones” and is located around 20 minutes walking distance from our apartment.
If you want to travel to other towns or cities there are two Bus Terminals for long distance trips. Just ask us if you need further information.
If you would like to do a guided tour to a specialty coffee farm or visit a roastery and learn everything about coffee roasting: Cielotostado offers great experiences for reasonable prices.
There are plenty of restaurants in Medellin that offer a variety of delicious food. Please ask us about the newest developments in town.
Since we are in the middle of the mountains there are many beautiful hiking routes around the city. Let us know if you are a hiker.
The best way is to go to Unicentro Shopping Center (10 min. walk, see map)
The most common providers are Claro and Movistar. Both have shops in Unicentro.
If you once have your chip you can recharge it in the store right across the street from our building.
